SambAfriq
SambAfriq is a community samba drumming band. We are a not for profit organisation, run by volunteers.
As a group, we learn about and explore carnival music and practices from around the world, taking inspiration from this and create exciting samba and samba reggae fusion sounds led and arranged by Emma, our Musical Director. Emma studies the music and spirit of carnival and practices this across Manchester and wider afield with her work.

Rehearsals and practice sessions run every Friday at 7pm until 9:45pm at the Lancaster Way community centre in Buckshaw Village
Dress Code
No dress code except for public events
where there is a uniform.
Parking
Free parking is available on site
with EV charging nearby.
Equipment
All instruments are provided but
you can also bring your own.
Cost
£6 on the door admission charge.
